Jenny Jae

Jenny Jae is the story of Jenny Jae Cory, a transgender woman who recently came out in a Northern Pennsylvania community. A once well-established town staple, Jenny has to face the complex intersection between her identity and the town she calls home and the community that now largely rejects her. The purpose of this documentary will be to explore the complex narrative of an individual living as transgender outside of major cities as well as to explore Jenny’s unique perspective on the situation she is in. The goal of this film is to explore Jenny as a dynamic and experienced individual overcoming the challenges she has faced in her community.
